Not only do I think this was a waste of time to even air such a controversy, but I am saddened that while soldiers are dying, famiies are getting divorced, USA is at WAR, the number one news headlines is about a brillant book that was placed in the genre. VERY sad. It's the writing....it's the book itself that we shoud be interested in. Is America really that deprived of drama? sick...So this book isn't as good because there details that are wrong? Oh wait..it wasnt a root canal with novicaine. The book was very good....and well written. I am saddened that Oprah feels that it is her right to go and make a show about how the jelousy of these peope should come forward and tear the book apart. Maybe we should go back and look at all the great American writers and see how their books are fabricated. No we aren't going to do that, why? because it's stupid and unrealistic. People need to get a life and move on from this....maybe learn something. There are more important things that I would rather learn about and watch in TV. My opinion...James Frey will and I hope he does make millions from his book sales...live a long happy life because it is aparent he did not have a great start, and buy stock on "O" magazine and make money off of Oprah.
I hope Oprah NEVER makes a mistake...or exaggerates about any matter, ect. because I will be the FIRST to remind peope of her actions about this instance.
